From an unnamed Discord server to UNBLO, and now CrossFades—our story is one of friendship, gaming, and community that evolved naturally over the years.
How We Got Here
2017 – Humble Start
- CrossFades originally started as an unnamed Discord server for local friends, coworkers, and people we knew. Nothing fancy—just a place to hang out and chat while gaming. It was simple, organic, and exactly what we needed at the time.
2019 – The UNBLO Era
- Around 2019, when Modern Warfare 2019 became huge, we had a problem: finding a suitable, unblocked, untaken clan tag and name. After struggling with this, we created UNBLO (Unblockable Teamname). The name just sorta stuck for many years.
- At its peak, UNBLO had roughly 200+ people in the MW clan and our Discord was absolutely popping. Our record before we cleaned house was around 300+ members—some active, some not, but all part of our growing family.
2025 – CrossFades Rebrand
- In 2025 we rebranded to be more welcoming than just gaming. While gaming is still our core, we created space for creatives, movie lovers, music enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys good vibes. Hence, CrossFades was born—a blend of interests and personalities.
